Due to the imminent risk of damaging winds as Typhoon Mangkhut approaches the island of Saipan, it is hereby ordered that the District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands will be closed on Monday, September 10, 2018 and will reopen at 1:00 pm on September 11, 2018 unless otherwise ordered. The island of Saipan is currently in Typhoon Condition II status, which means destructive winds of 74 mph or more are possible within 24 hours (Monday afternoon).
The CM/ECF electronic filing system will remain online, unaffected by this weather closure.
