Due to the imminent risk of damaging winds and flash flooding from Tropical Storm Cimaron, and due to the island of Saipan being placed in Tropical Storm Condition II status, which means damaging winds of 39 to 73 mph are expected within the next six to twelve hours, the District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands will be closed starting at 10:30 am today, Monday, August 20, 2018.
The CM/ECF electronic filing system will remain online, unaffected by this weather closure.
The court is presently scheduled to re-open at normal business hours on Tuesday, August 21, 2018.
