In a cooperative effort of the U.S. District Court, Criminal Justice Act Panel, U.S. Attorney's Office, and U.S. Probation Office, the Drug Offender Re-Entry (D.O.R.E.) Program for individuals on federal supervision was established on January 26, 2016. D.O.R.E. is similar in structure to a traditional drug court. In addition to collaboration with the team, to include the Court's active participation, this program's objective shall be to offer a creative blend of treatment and sanction alternatives to effectively address offender behavior, rehabilitation, and the safety of our community.

The United States District Court, District Court for the Northern Mariana Islands D.O.R.E. Program convened for the first time yesterday, Tuesday, January 26, 2016 with four participants. Chief Judge, Ramona V. Manglona presided over the session.
