This is the fourth general order addressing the Court’s closure due to Super Typhoon Sinlaku. Super Typhoon Sinlaku has devasted the island of Saipan. Power and water continue to be unavailable. Roads continue to be impassable, with downed power lines and trees making driving dangerous. Accordingly, the Court will remain closed through 8:00 a.m. on Monday, April 27, 2026. Further orders regarding the closure of the Court may be issued as needed.
All cases currently scheduling for hearings during this closure are hereby vacated and will be rescheduled when the Court opens for regular business. Any filings due while the Court is closed shall be deemed timely filed if filed when the Court opens for regular business. The CM/ECF electronic filing system will remain online, unaffected by this weather closure.
