With the impending approach of Tropical Storm Choi-Wan towards Saipan, the Governor of the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands has declared Tropical Storm Condition II for the islands of Tinian and Saipan. This means that tropical storm force winds of 39 mph or more are expected within twenty-four hours. Tropical Storm Choi-Wan is expected to impact Saipan with gusts of 60 mph winds through Saturday morning. For these reasons, the court will close at 3:00 p.m. today until further order of the court.
