NMI Girl Scouts Earn First Justice Patch - Posted: 12/12/2019
The United States District Court Chief Judge Ramona Manglona, Magistrate Judge Heather Kennedy and CNMI Superior Court Judge Teresa Kim-Tenorio hosted the first CNMI Justice Patch Program for the NMI Girl Scouts last October in observance of Red Ribbon Week as well as to instill a greater understanding of the legal system for the aspiring young Scouts.

NORTHERN MARIANAS FEDERAL COURT COSPONSORS HIGH SCHOOL CIVICS CONTEST. A civics contest organized by the federal courts of the western United States offers high school students a chance to win cash prizes. The contest is open to high school students in Alaska, Arizona, California, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, the United States Territory of Guam and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands.

PACER Fee Waiver Doubled - Posted: 12/04/2019
The Judicial Conference doubled the quarterly fee waiver for users of the Public Access to Court Electronic Records system (PACER) from $15 to $30. This will result in more than 75 percent of the system’s users paying no fee in a given quarter.
